For such an easy put together dish, it is so delicious. Using thin cuts of steak and fresh broccoli, pulling it all together with a simple but very tasty sauce and you have a wonderful beef & broccoli that fits perfectly over your favorite rice.
Crockpot Beef & Broccoli
Ingredients
- 2 lbs sirloin or beef steak cut into thin strips
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 TBS seasame oil
- 2 tsp garlic, minced
- 4 TBS corn starch
- 4 TBS water
- 2-3 heads broccoli or 12 oz frozen broccoli
Instructions
- In the sleeve of your crockpot mix together with a whisk, broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and garlic.
- Add in the beef strips and mix together.
- Cover with lid and cook on low for 5 hours.
- Whisk together corn starch and water. Once beef and sauce is done, pour in the corn starch mixture and stir to combine.
- Add broccoli and stir carefully to combine.
- Cover with lid and cook an additional 30-40 minutes until desired texture of broccoli is met.
- Serve over cooked rice if you like. Enjoy.
