Crockpot Beef & Broccoli

For such an easy put together dish, it is so delicious. Using thin cuts of steak and fresh broccoli, pulling it all together with a simple but very tasty sauce and you have a wonderful beef & broccoli that fits perfectly over your favorite rice.

Crockpot Beef & Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs sirloin or beef steak cut into thin strips
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 TBS seasame oil
  • 2 tsp garlic, minced
  • 4 TBS corn starch
  • 4 TBS water
  • 2-3 heads broccoli or 12 oz frozen broccoli

Instructions

  • In the sleeve of your crockpot mix together with a whisk, broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil and garlic.
  • Add in the beef strips and mix together.
  • Cover with lid and cook on low for 5 hours.
  • Whisk together corn starch and water. Once beef and sauce is done, pour in the corn starch mixture and stir to combine.
  • Add broccoli and stir carefully to combine.
  • Cover with lid and cook an additional 30-40 minutes until desired texture of broccoli is met.
  • Serve over cooked rice if you like. Enjoy.
