  • I am making this now. I didn’t have heavy cream so I subbed 2 cups Carnation canned milk and I only had organic smoked paprika instead of sweet Hungarian. I will let you know how it turns out. I love your recipes on Facebook but have trouble finding them on the link for your website. I need to see a written recipe after watching your great videos. Wish your website was easier to search for recipes. Appreciate your sending me this recipe.

    • Ok. The canned carnation milk won’t cook the same. You may have to add at the end. The links attached to facebook videos take you directly to the recipe. I”m glad you are enjoying my recipes.

  • I did this recipe last night in my small crockpot and it curdled Had to throw it all out. Am trying it again tonight with my 6 quart crockpot on low. Hope it turns out better.

    • I’m so sorry that happened. I’m not sure why it would have curdled, I’ve never had that happen before. I hope the second batch turned out for you.

  • I made this about a month ago and am going to make it again tonight. It was just as good as Olive Garden.
When making someone’s recipe for the first time, make sure to have all ingredients on hand that way you don’t have to substitute anything.
