Egg Roll Soup
Ingredients
- 2 carrots shredded
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1/2 green cabbage shredded
- 1 Onion diced
- 2 tsp ginger minced
- 2 TBS olive oil
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 lb ground pork
- 6 cups chicken stock
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare cabbage, carrots, ginger, and onions.
- In large stock pot, heat up olive oil on medium high heat.
- Brown up the ground pork and place on a plate and set aside.
- In same pot add cabbage, carrots, ginger and onions. saute for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add pork back to pot.
- Add salt & pepper to taste.
- Add chicken stock and bring to a boil stirring occasionally.
- Cover for 15 minutes on low and let simmer.
- Stir in sesame oil until combined.
- Taste, add seasoning.
- Serve and Enjoy.
