- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 medium head of broccoli cut into bite size florets
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced big
Instructions
- In a medium sauce pan over medium high heat, add all General Tso's sauce ingredients and whisk until it comes to a boil. Lower heat and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly while preparing next step.
- In large skillet heat 2 TBS of sesame oil over medium high heat. Add in chicken and spread out in a single layer. Season top of chicken with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let saute for 5 minutes. Turn chicken over and cook an additional 4-5 minutes until chicken is cooked through and no longer pink.
- Add in broccoli florets with the chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes until desired tenderness is achieved for the broccoli.
- Add corn starch slurry to sauce and stir to combine. Pour sauce into chicken & broccoli and stir to combine. Allow to simmer for a few minutes until sauce thickens. Add Sliced green onions on top and enjoy.
