Honey Butter Cajun Pork Tenderloin

I love picking up a pork tenderloin and flavoring it with my homemade Cajun seasoning, localized honey, and butter.  Oh my, it is so delicious.

Honey Butter Cajun Pork Tenderloin

Ingredients

  • 1-1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin
  • 4 TBS butter
  • 2 TBS honey
  • 2 TBS cajun seasoning
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Coat pork tenderloin with Cajun seasoning and salt & pepper.
  • On medium high heat melt 2 TBS butter and honey into oven proof skillet.
  • Place tenderloin into skillet and let sit for 5 minutes. About half way through add an additional 1 TBS butter. After 5 minutes, flip tenderloin to cook on other side for additional 5 minutes.
  • Place last TBS of butter into skillet and place into oven for 15-20 minutes. Use thermometer to check for internal temperature of 160. Once temperature is reached remove from oven.
  • Place on a sheet of tin foil and wrap up for 10 minutes.
  • Unwrap and enjoy.
