I love picking up a pork tenderloin and flavoring it with my homemade Cajun seasoning, localized honey, and butter. Oh my, it is so delicious.
Honey Butter Cajun Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients
- 1-1 1/2 lbs pork tenderloin
- 4 TBS butter
- 2 TBS honey
- 2 TBS cajun seasoning
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Coat pork tenderloin with Cajun seasoning and salt & pepper.
- On medium high heat melt 2 TBS butter and honey into oven proof skillet.
- Place tenderloin into skillet and let sit for 5 minutes. About half way through add an additional 1 TBS butter. After 5 minutes, flip tenderloin to cook on other side for additional 5 minutes.
- Place last TBS of butter into skillet and place into oven for 15-20 minutes. Use thermometer to check for internal temperature of 160. Once temperature is reached remove from oven.
- Place on a sheet of tin foil and wrap up for 10 minutes.
- Unwrap and enjoy.
