Added maybe a cup of raisins. It was so good and so quick and easy.

This would be a fun recipe to make with young grade schoolers or grandkids.

Each Sunday. a class member brings a snack before Sunday School (Senior Class ) and we visit and have coffee and munch. My turn, I brought your Applesauce Cake, giving you credit of course (Milton Berle, I’m not. LOL). Everyone enjoyed it so much, and like many of the commentors, I heard the same things, “My mother used to make this,” or “where did you get Grandma’s recipe.” Thank you for all your wonderful recipes and Bless You for sharing them on YouTube and in your cook books. I have made many for cookouts, family events and, as here, for Social occasions, and I ALWAYS tell people where I get my recipes and inspirations, even if I change something.
