One Skillet Dirty Rice

One Skillet Dirty Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 celery stalks, diced
  • 2-4 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, brown up the ground beef. Right before the beef is totally cooked, add diced onions, peppers, and celery and cook until softened. Add creole seasoning and mix well.
  • Add rice, water and chicken broth and mix together. Bring to a boil.
  • Adjust to low, cover skillet with lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Turn off burner, take lid off and stir. Garnish with parsley and enjoy.
