One Skillet Dirty Rice
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 celery stalks, diced
- 2-4 tsp creole seasoning
- 1 cup rice, uncooked
- 1 cup water
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown up the ground beef. Right before the beef is totally cooked, add diced onions, peppers, and celery and cook until softened. Add creole seasoning and mix well.
- Add rice, water and chicken broth and mix together. Bring to a boil.
- Adjust to low, cover skillet with lid and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Turn off burner, take lid off and stir. Garnish with parsley and enjoy.
