These would make a great dish to bring for a tailgating party or make these for watching football with your friends.  So easy to make. And so easy to eat.  Little peppers of goodness.  Sausage & Cheese, say no more.

Sausage & Cheese Stuffed Baby Bell Peppers

Ingredients

  • 12 Baby Bell Peppers cut in half lengthwise, remove seeds and ribs
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 5 oz goat cheese softened
  • 2 TBS Chives
  • 1 lb sausage links
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 4 tsp olive oil
  • black bepper
  • Salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a skillet brown up sausage. Remove from pan and place in bowl.
  • place panko crumbs into same pan and continually stir for a few minutes until a golden brown. (Use same oil from sausage)
  • In medium bowl, combine both cheeses, black pepper and chives. Add cooked sausage and mix well.
  • Lightly coat peppers with olive oil and sprinkle lightly with salt. Place into baking pans and place in preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  • Place cheese & sausage mixture into halved peppers with a spoon and mold tightly. Sprinkle with browned panko crumbs.
  • Place baking pans back into oven for 12-15 minutes, until cheese is warmed through.
  • Enjoy!
