Red Velvet Poke Cake-Easy Recipe

This red velvet poke cakes is so easy. I use a boxed cake mix, cheesecake pudding, whipped topping, and oreos. Nothing to this cake, but easy to make and delicious ingredients. Oh my gosh, my family is in love with it.

Red Velvet Poke Cake-Easy Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 oz) red velvet boxed cake mix + ingredients on bake of box
  • 2 (3.4 oz) boxes cheesecake flavored instant pudding mix
  • 4 cups chilled milk
  • 1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping
  • 10-12 oreos, crushed

Instructions

  • Prepare cake mix according to packing instructions for a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Cool cake for 2-3 minutes in baking dish.
  • Using the end of a wooden spoon or a straw, poke lots of holes throughout the cake. Make sure the holes go all the way to bottom of cake. (Big holes)
  • In a medium mixing bowl whisk together both pudding packets and milk until a loose pudding is formed. (Soft enough to fill the holes in cake).
  • Pour pudding all over cake. Spread evenly and fill holes as much as possible by gently pressing pudding into holes.
  • Let set in refrigerator for 2 hours to set up and cool.
  • Once cake is completely cooled, spread whipped topping over entire cake and evenly spread.
  • Sprinkle crushed oreos over whipped topping.
  • Enjoy.
