Spaghetti Pizza Casserole

Ingredients

Spaghetti Crust Base

  • 1 lb uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 TBS salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Pizza

  • 1 lb ground mild Italian sausage, crumbled and browned
  • 24 oz jar pasta sauce
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 package sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 15 x 10 x 1 1/2 inch jelly roll pan.
  • In a large pot bring water and 1 TBS salt to a boil. Add in spaghetti and cook per instructions on package for al dente. Drain pasta and place back in pot.
  • In a small bowl mix together eggs, milk 1 cup mozzarella cheese, and garlic powder. Add mixture to the drained spaghetti in pot and mix well.
  • Spread spaghetti mixture onto prepared sheet pan evenly. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven. Leave oven at same temperature (350 degrees);
  • Spread pasta sauce all over baked spaghetti. Top with browned sausage evenly. Sprinkle 2 cups mozzarella cheese evenly over sausage. Top with pepperoni in an even layer.
  • Bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven, then let sit for 5 minutes before slicing. Enjoy.

    This was so fun to make! I subbbed ground beef for the sausage and added some green bell peppers. It definitely does need to rest a bit after coming out of the oven. It’s quite tasty!
