Stick of Butter Rice

Equipment

  • 9 x 11 baking dish
  • strainer
  • cooking spray
  • spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white long grain rice uncooked
  • 1 (10.5) oz can beef broth
  • 1 (10.5) oz can condensed French onion soup
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9 x 11 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a strainer, rinse rice under cold water until the water runs cool. Pat rice with a paper towel. Place rice into prepared baking dish.
  • Pour beef broth and french onion soup into baking dish. Stir together to combine.
  • Place 1 stick of butter on top of soup & rice mixture. Cover baking dish with foil. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil & stir.
