Suddenly Pasta Salad (Bacon Ranch) Copycat Recipe

Equipment

  • large pot
  • wooden spoon
  • measuring spoons & cups
  • strainer
  • medium serving bowl
  • small mixing bowl

Ingredients

  • 12 oz uncooked dry pasta
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrot
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup miracle whip or mayonnaise
  • 3 TBS dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 TBS milk
  • 3 TBS crumbled cooked bacon
  • salt & black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Stir in salt & dry uncooked pasta. Cook per directions on back of package for tender cooked pasta.
  • Half way through cooking time add in shredded carrots and frozen peas. Finish cooking until pasta is tender, carrots & peas are cooked through.
  • Drain & rinse with cold water the pasta, carrots, and peas until cool. Transfer to a large mixing bowl.
  • Mix miracle whip, ranch, milk, and bacon bits in a small bowl. Pour mixture over cooled pasta in large bowl and mix to combine. Serve immediately or store in refrigerator before serving.
