The Easiest Cinnamon Rolls

Taking canned refrigerated cinnamon rolls and turning them into something scrumptious.

Equipment

  • 9 x 13 baking dish
  • large measuring cup
  • small bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 (8 ct) pkgs canned refrigerated original cinnamon rolls
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

Baked Topping

  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
  • 1/2 TBS ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

2nd Topping

  • 1 TBS melted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1-2 TBS milk

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9" x 13" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Open both packages of cinnamon rolls and place them in prepared baking dish cinnamon side up.
  • Pour heavy whipping cream in between rolls and down the insides of the baking dish.
  • In a small mixing bowl mix together "Baked Topping" ingredients (butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Slather all other the tops of the cinnamon rolls.
  • Cover baking with foil and bake in oven for 35-45 minutes. (Time depends on size of cinnamon rolls. (35-40 minutes for original and 40-45 for the grands.)
  • In another small bowl whisk together (2nd Topping ingredients) butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
  • Remove foil and smooth icing all over the baked cinnamon rolls.
