My husband loves this traditional pecan pie. There’s no extras in it, just simple pecan pie ingredients. You can’t go wrong with simple, easy and delicious.
Traditional Pecan Pie
Ingredients
- 1 (9 inch deep dish) unbaked pie crust
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 3 eggs, room temperature
- 2 TBS butter, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chopped or halved pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place pie crust into pie plate if needed.
- In medium bowl whisk eggs. Add in bown sugar, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla. Whisk to combine.
- Stir in pecans. Pour mixture into pie crust.
- Bake on center rack of oven for 60-70 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack for at least 2 hours until pie plate is cooled before serving.
