White Pretzel Krispies Candy

Equipment

  • large microwave safe bowl
  • spatulas
  • large mixing bowl
  • 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop
  • large sheet pan with parchment
  • mini cupcake wrapper

Ingredients

  • 12 – 18 oz almond bark, or other melting chocolate chips
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies or rice puff cereal
  • 3 cups pretzel twists, broken into smaller pieces
  • 1 1/2 cups roasted or cocktail peanuts, lightly salted

Instructions

  • Place almond bark into a large microwave safe bowl and melt per directions on back of package until smooth.
    NOTE: you can use a double boiler method to melt bark or chocolate chips.
  • In a separate large bowl mix together Rice Krispies cereal, pretzels, and peanuts. Pour melted almond bark all over the mixed Krispies, pretzels, and peanuts. Stir until well coated.
  • Fill a 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop firmly with the mixture and place into a mini cupcake wrapper. Continue with the remainder of the mixture.
    NOTE: you can also just scoop and place mixture onto a parchment lined sheet pan and let set up.
  • Let sit on the countertop until the candies are set solid. (Place in refrigerator or freezer for a faster set up time.)
