Taking an old favorite of mine from a box and bulking it up for a family friendly meal.

Ingredients
1boxKraft classic spaghetti dinner
1lbground beef
1mediumbell pepper, diced
1mediumyellow onion, diced
16oztomato sauce
1/4cupwater
parsley for garnish
Instructions
In a large pot of boiling water cook spaghetti (that comes in the box) per directions on back of kraft spaghetti dinner box. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile brown up ground beef until no longer pink. Stir in peppers and onions and cook until softened. Drain excess grease from pan.
Stir in tomato sauce and water. Mix in seasoning sauce mix packet from box. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes to thicken.
Stir in cooked, drained spaghetti until well combined. Top with the parmesan cheese packet from box and sprinkle with parsley for garnish.
NOTE: this is my version that I remember eating as a child and talking with my mom about her exact recipe. You can change the veggies and protein if you like. Check out the box for other versions of sauce.
