Classic BLT Chicken Salad

The Best of a Bacon Lettuce Tomato Sandwich and a Classic Chicken salad put together for this delicious salad. Salty, tangy, flavorful, so many things going on good with this salad.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 cups shredded rotisserie cooked chicken
  • 1/2 - 1 lb bacon
  • 1 cup diced cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced celery
  • 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  • Line bacon on a parchment lined deep sheet pan and bake in a 425 degree oven for 15-20 minutes until crispy and golden brown. Remove from oven and place bacon on paper towels to drain excess grease. Chop bacon into pieces.
  • In a large mixing bowl place chopped cooked chicken, cooked bacon, diced tomatoes, green onions, celery, mayonnaise, sour cream, and seasonings. Mix well to combine. Taste to adjust any seasonings.
    NOTE: optional ingredient would be any type of lettuce chopped and added.
  • Place mixture into a serving bowl. Enjoy.
