Kentucky Crockpot Potatoes

A secret ingredient pulls this creamy cheesy side dish together with lots of flavor. Perfect for potlucks, get togethers or pair this side with your meal. It's delicious. Only 4 ingredients along with seasonings.

Equipment

  • 6 quart crockpot/slow cooker
  • non-stick cooking spray
  • measuring cups & spoons
  • spatula

Ingredients

  • 1 (26 oz) bag frozen O'Brien Potatoes with Peppers & Onions
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of potato soup (secret ingredient)
  • 1 (8 oz) container sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (DIVIDED)
  • 1 tsp (each) salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika
  • parsley (garnish)

Instructions

  • Spray a 6 quart crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Add frozen O'Brien Potatoes with peppers & onions into prepared crockpot.
  • Top with cream of potato soup, sour cream, and all seasonings. Mix well together.
  • Cover crockpot with lid and cook for 2-3 hours on high until potatoes are heated through and tender.
  • Mix in 1/2 of the shredded cheese into the potatoes until well combined. Top with remaining cheese.
  • Cook an additional 30 minutes until cheese is fully melted. Serve potatoes warm. Sprinkle parsley on top for a pop of color.
