Equipment

  • Bundt Cake Pan

Ingredients

  • 1 (15.25 oz) box yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3.1 oz) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup 7up

Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease & flour a 10 inch bundt cake pan.
  • In a large bowl whisk together dry cake mix & pudding mix.
  • Pour in melted butter and mix together using an electric hand mixer. Beat in eggs one at a time until fluffy. Mix in 7up.
  • Pour batter into prepared bundt pan. Bake per instructions on back of cake mix box (33-36 minutes), until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean and the cake has pulled away from pan.
  • Allow to cool in pan for 15 minutes. Flip out of pan and finish cooling on a serving plate.
  • To make the frosting: Cream together cream cheese and butter until well combined. Mix in vanilla extract. Add in the powdered sugar mixing after each 1/2 cup.
  • Using a piping bag or ziploc bag pipe frosting onto cake creating lines that start on the bottom outside of cake and end each line in the inside of cake. Create lines all around the cake. Fill inside of cake with extra frosting.
