Bird Nest Cookies 3 Ingredient No Bake Recipe

Equipment

  • large microwavable safe bowl
  • spatula
  • dry measuring cup
  • 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop or large spoon
  • sheet pan
  • wax paper, parchment paper, or silicone mat

Ingredients

  • 6 oz chocolate chips (dark, milk, or semi sweet)
  • 6 oz reese's peanut butter chips
  • 8-10 oz chow mein noodles
  • 1 pkg cadbury mini eggs
  • optional: peeps for decoration

Instructions

  • In large microwavable safe bowl place chocolate chips and peanut butter chips.
  • Place in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir with a spatula and place back in microwave in 15 second increments, stirring after each until chips are melted and has a smooth consistency.
  • Add chow mein noodles to the melted chips and fold in carefully until all noodles are coated.
  • Using a 1 1/2 inch cookie scoop place mixture onto prepared baking sheet into nest shapes. Using the back of the cookie scoop, make a rounded hole in each nest.
  • Place 3 cadbury colored eggs into each nest right away.
  • Allow to set up on counter top, or you can set it up faster in the freezer.
  • Place solid nests on a serving platter and place peeps around the nests. Enjoy.
    This batch makes approx. 12 nests. Feel free to double recipe.
