Cake Mix Cookies - Cookies & Cream

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz) box yellow, white, or vanilla cake mix
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 cups oreos, broken into 4 pieces each
  • 1/2 cup white chips
  • 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In a large bowl combine cake mix, egg, vanilla, and cream cheese using an electric hand mixer until dough is formed.
  • Add in both white and chocolate chips and broken oreos by hand until well combined.
  • Form 1 inch balls or use a 1 inch scoop to place onto balls of dough onto a greased sheet pan or use parchment paper. Space dough balls about 2 inches apart. (These cookies can be rounded or flat) To flatten the dough use a piece of parchment paper and lay across the dough and flatten using the bottom edge of a glass.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned at the edges.
  • Allow cookies to cool for a few minutes on the sheet pan. Then move cookies to a cooling rack to completely cool.
