Chocolate Chip Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch refrigerated pie dough uncooked
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place the pie dough into a 9 inch deep pie plate. Flute or crimp the edges.
  • In a large mixing bowl beat eggs on high speed of your electric hand mixer until light and fluffy. Add the four and both sugars and mix again until well combined. Add the melted butter and mix until combined.
  • Using a spatula mix in chocolate chips and walnuts until well incorporated. Spoon the batter into the prepared pie crust. Bake in preheated oven for 50-60 minutes until center is set and lightly browned. A knife inserted between the edge of pie and the center of pie should come out clean. Place pie on cooling rack for 30 minutes.
