Creamy Chicken & Rice Casserole

Equipment

  • 9 x 13 baking dish

Ingredients

  • 2 pkgs Knorr Chicken Flavored Rice & Pasta Blend
  • 1 (10oz) can cream of chicken soup
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 lbs chicken tenders

Seasonings that you can use in this dish

  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1 TBS dried minced onion

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Pour both packets of rice & pasta blend in bottom of 9 x 13 baking dish. Add cream of soup and chicken broth. Whisk together to combine.
  • Place chicken tenders on top of mixture in a single layer.
  • Sprinkle desired seasonings onto chicken tenders. (I used all from my seasoning list above.)
  • Top with cheddar cheese shreds.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and cook an additional 10-15 minutes until chicken is cooked through and cheese has melted and is golden brown.

    Cooked it for our family reunion 2 weeks ago and it was a huge hit – as was the sauerkraut casserole! Cooked this last night just fo rthe family and of course everyone is taking it for lunch today. Thank you Catherine! I love your recipe videos!
