In a large bowl mix together ground beef, bread/panko crumbs, egg, diced onion, Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings.
Shape into 4 patties and flatten to 1/4 inch.
Heat oil & butter in a large skillet on medium high. Add patties and brown on each side 4-5 minutes each until patties are cooked through. Remove patties and set a side on a plate.
In the same skillet, do not remove any of the fat or bits, as this adds flavor. Lower heat to medium low and add butter to melt. Once butter starts to sizzle, whisk in flour and seasonings listed for country gravy ingredients for 5 minutes to cook raw flour taste out.
Place heat level to medium and slowly add the 3 cups of milk. Bring to a slow boil for 2-3 minutes until gravy thickens. Add the patties back in the pan and using a spoon pour gravy over patties to cover. Turn off heat. Garnish with parsley and enjoy.
