Homemade Whipped Cream Topping

  • large bowl
  • electric hand mixer
  • measuring cups & spoons


  • 8 oz heavy whipping cream
  • 2 TBS powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract


  • In a large mixing bowl place heavy whipping cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Using an electric hand mixer on low speed beat until powdered sugar is incorporated into cream. Gradually increase speed to high and continue to mix until soft peaks form. (Scrape down sides as needed.)
  • Serve up on your favorite dessert. Store leftover whipped cream in refrigerator in an airtight container for 2 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
