This Instant pot Korean Ground Beef is such a fast & delicious dish that I like to make. My family loves the flavors that come through. I like to serve over basmati rice that I cook separately. The garnish of green onions gives it a freshness. Don’t forget to finish with sesame seeds.

Instant Pot Korean Ground Beef-Simple & Delicious
Ingredients
- 1 TBS cooking oil
- 1-2 cups chopped vegetables I used colored peppers, red onion, and celery
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 TBS minced garlic
- 3 TBS brown sugar
- 1 TBS sesame oil
- 1 tsp ground giner
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup water
- sliced green onions, garnish
- sesame seeds, garnish
Instructions
- Set instant pot on sautee mode. Add oil and vegetables and sautee for 1-2 minutes. Add ground beef and brown thoroughly. Drain any excess fat.
- Add garlic, brown sugar, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, water, salt & pepper. Mix well.
- Place lid onto instant pot and lock into place. Make sure knob on back of unit is on "sealing".
- Pressure cook for 3 minutes on high power. Then do a natural release for 9 minutes.
- Move knob on back of unit from "sealing" to "venting" and allow all steam to release. Once pin drops, remove lid from unit away from you.
- I like to serve over basmati rice and garnish with green onion slices and sesame seeds. Enjoy.
