Oven Baked Chicken

Ingredients

  • 3-4 chicken breast, boneless, skinless
  • 2 TBS cooking oil (vegetable or avocado oil)
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp ceyenne pepper, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  • Place each piece of chicken in a ziploc bag and slightly flatten to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  • Remove flattened chicken from ziploc bag and place chicken into a 9x13 baking dish.
  • Drizzle oil over chicken to coat top and bottom of chicken.
  • Mix all seasonings in a small bowl and sprinkle over top and bottom of chicken.
  • Place baking dish into preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.
  • Pull baking dish out of oven and cover with foil for 15 minutes.
  • After chicken has rested, dice or cut into strips as recipe requires. Enjoy.
