Sausage, Egg & Cheese Crescent Roll-Ups

Equipment

  • 1 large skillet
  • 1 large sheet pan with parchment paper
  • 1 small plate

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • salt, to taste
  • black pepper, to taste
  • 8 links cooked jimmy dean breakfast sausage links
  • 1 TBS butter
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 large egg, for basting

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • In mixing bowl whisk together 6 eggs, milk, salt & pepper. Heat 1 TBS butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add eggs and scramble until just loosely set. Turn off burner.
    Heat sausage on a microwavable plate for 30 seconds.
  • On roll crescents roll dough and separate by the perorated triangles on a prepared sheet pan. Place 1 TBS of shredded cheese on the big end of a triangle. Top with eggs and a sausage link. Sprinkle with 1 TBS additional shredded cheese.
  • Pull the tip of the crescent triangle up and over the eggs and sausage and tuck it under the big end of the triangle to form a roll-up. Finish the rest of the crescents.
    Whisk 1 egg and brush onto each crescent.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until golden brown and crescents are cooked through. Cool on pan for 3 minutes and serve.
