Sticky Buns-Only 5 Ingredients
Using this shortcut ingredient (canned cinnamon rolls) will make the easiest but tastiest sticky buns.
Equipment
- 9 x 13 baking dish
- Medium sauce pan
Ingredients
- 2 (8 ct) tubes canned cinnamon rolls
- 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup or honey
- 1 cup crushed pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a medium sauce pan, melt butter over medium high heat. Add in brown sugar and corn syrup. Stir to combine for one minute.
- Pour into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle pecans evenly over mixture.
- Remove cinnamon rolls from cans and place in one layer over the pecans and mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the buns are golden brown and cooked through. (Use toothpick method to check doneness in the center.)
- Allow to rest for only 3 minutes. Place a serving platter upside down over the baking dish and invert onto the platter. NOTE: you can heat up the glazes that come with the cinnamon rolls and pour over the sticky buns if desire.
