  • Loved this but split it in half because only 2 of us.

How about Black Forest cherry cheesecake dump cake. Just sub chocolate cake for vanilla and add 1/4 t. almond extract to the 2 cans of cherry

  • Made this a couple weeks ago. Family LOVED it! We actually enjoy it cold after it has been in the frig overnight. It’s like having a bowl of cheesecake. I think what we like most is that the cream cheese actually helps cut the sweetness a little so it isn’t just overwhelming sweetness. Did I mention that we all LOVED this? LOL

  • Thanks for this great recipe Catherine! I made it using an apples and cherries mix (one can of each) and it was amazing!

  • Made one similar to this. And decided to see if there was recipes after I’d already had it in the oven.. for mine, I put blueberry, and strawberry rhubarb pie fillings, whipped some sugar into my cream cheese, and dumped the cake mix on top then added the melted butter. We shall see how it turns out! I’m afraid it may be to sweet having added sugar to my cream cheese?

    • It sounds delicious with the rhubarb. Let me know how the sugar in the cream cheese turned out, I think it should have worked. 🙂
