Crockpot Chicken Cordon Bleu and Stuffing - Dump & Go Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs
  • 6-8 oz stove top stuffing or any dry stuffing mix
  • 2 (10oz) cans cream of soup (celery, chicken, or mushroom)
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 10 slices deli ham
  • 10 slices swiss cheese or shredded swiss
  • salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika (for seasoning)

Instructions

  • Spray nonstick cooking spray into crockpot bottom and sides.
  • Add dry stuffing, cream of soups, milk, butter, 1/4 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp paprika. Mix Well.
  • Place chicken on top of stuffing mixture and season chicken with a dash of salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika.
  • Layer the ham across the chicken.
  • Layer 1/2 the swiss cheese slices or shreds over the ham.
  • Place lid on crockpot. Cook on high for 4-5 hours or on low for approx. 8 hours. Check that chicken is fully cooked and tender.
  • Place other 1/2 of swiss cheese on top and sprinkle with parsley, if desired. Let sit for 5 minutes to settle. Enjoy.

  • I watch your video and whole it sounds good it was too soupy for me. Do you think if I just add a little more dressing it would be firmer. I don’t mean to complain but I dont cook kn crockpot do just trying to figure out what to do.

    • Yes, you can add more dry stuffing to the mixture. The stuffing did solidify after sitting for 5 minutes. I hope you enjoy.
