Crescent Roll Chicken Bundles

Easy & delicious recipe using rotisserie chicken, refrigerated canned crescent roll dough, a creamy sauce full of flavor.

Equipment

  • Medium sauce pan
  • cutting board and sharp knife
  • prepared sheet pans

Ingredients

  • 2 (8oz) cans refrigerated canned crescent roll dough
  • 2 (10.5oz) cans cream of chicken, mushroom, or celery soup
  • 1 (8oz) pkg cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (.7oz) pkg Italian seasoning & dressing mix
  • 1/4 medium yellow onion, diced fine
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2-3 cups cooked shredded chicken

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper or spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a medium sauce pan add cream of soups, cream cheese, Italian seasoning mix, and black pepper. Stir until cream cheese has melted and ingredients are combined. Lower heat to low.
  • Place half of the mixture into a separate small bowl and set aside for later use in recipe.
  • Stir in chicken & onion into the remaining mixture in sauce pan and let simmer on low heat.
  • Separate crescent dough into the triangles on prepared sheet pans. Place 1 TBS of chicken mixture onto large end of crescent. Pull sides of crescent dough over mixture along with the large end and roll to tip of crescent creating a bundle.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 9-12 minutes until golden brown and crescent is cooked through.
  • Serve with remaining sauce that was set aside earlier.
