Crockpot Easy Cheesy Rice & Chicken

Easy Short Cut Using Knorr's Side Rice Dish

Ingredients

  • 2 packets Knorr Cheddar & Broccoli Rice & Pasta Blend
  • 1 (10oz) can cream of chicken with herbs
  • 20 oz chicken broth
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite size pieces
  • 16 oz bag frozen broccoli florets

Instructions

  • Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Pour both packets of Knorr Broccoli & Cheddar Rice & Pasta Blends into bottom of crockpot.
  • Empty one can of cream of chicken with herbs and 20 oz chicken broth into crockpot. Whisk all ingredients together. Mix in 1/2 diced onion & black pepper..
  • Add chopped chicken & broccoli into mixture in crockpot and mix well. Place lid on crockpot.
  • Cook for 4-6 hours on low or 2.5 – 3 hours on high. The time will determine on how big the chicken is. You want to make sure the chicken is tender and cooked through and that your rice is tender.
    NOTE: keep an eye on it, add more liquid if you feel you need it.
  • OPTIONAL: turn off crockpot, top casserole with shredded cheese and place lid back on until cheese has melted. Enjoy.
