Glazed Carrots

Oh these are amazingly delicious. They will look so beautiful on your dinner table.

Equipment

  • medium skillet

Ingredients

  • 10-12 whole carrots peeled and ends cut off
  • water to fill pan
  • 3 TBS butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey

Instructions

  • Peel and chop off both ends of carrots. Place carrots into large skillet. Fill skillet with water to cover about 1 inch over carrots. Place over high heat and bring to a boil.
  • Let carrots remain boiling until you get to the tenderness you desire. (Add additional hot water to carrots during boiling process, if needed.) Drain carrots and leave in colander.
  • In same skillet over medium low heat, add in and stir together butter, brown sugar, and honey. Add carrots back in and carefully stir to coat the carrots for a few minutes to allow the flavors to absorb into the carrots, Turn off burner and allow to sit for a few minutes.
  • Place on a serving platter. ENJOY.
    NOTE: if you get the organic carrots, you can use the top greenery as a decoration to your plate.
