Crockpot Sloppy Joes

Equipment

  • large skillet
  • 6 quart crockpot

Ingredients

  • 2 TBS cooking oil
  • 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 medium green bell peppers, diced (try different colors too)
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 2 (10.5 oz) cans tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 TBS Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 TBS yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • hamburger buns

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium high heat bring 2 TBS cooking oil to a sizzle. Add in bell peppers and onions, season with 1/8 tsp salt & pepper and cook until softened. Add in ground beef and cook until beef is no longer pink. DRAIN excess grease.
  • Place cooked beef, onions, & peppers into bottom of crockpot. Place remainder of ingredients (except hamburger buns) into crockpot and stir everything until combined.
  • Place lid on crockpot and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6 hours. Serve on hamburger buns and enjoy.
